What are the weights of these discs?

Found from store new star (weirdly soft) ones that had the trad KC 12x stamp. Low parting line and insanely big dome, weight a bit under 160g. Easiest distance ever and doesn't crash easily in headwind when hyzerflipping. Gonna seek for more. I bet the new scary stamp ones with a bit lighter weight are like these. New champ ones that have similar dome and PLH are beefy (got 168g one). I have one about 15yo PFN star 171g flat, it wasn't my favourite disc because of insane flashing but flew well. The new star feels weird but I would say the discs can be good.

Lost a $60 disc! Bummer man.

Which plastic cicada would you recommend for slower arm speed 55 year old. Also how does the cicada compare to a river ?

I also love the cicada. I have three. I recently started going with lighter weights and got one of the lightweight cicadas. My backhands off the tee are traveling 50-70 feet further. Such a great disc.

FDs flight number is 7 6 0 1. At least for the non innova molds, I've never seen a -1 1 FD.

I wonder why Innova Destroyers, Wraiths, Firebirds, Bosses, TeeBirds, Thunderbirds, Sidewinders, Leopards, Pigs, Shrykes, Roadrunners, Terns, Aviars, Mako3s, Roc3s, ... in beginner and premium plastics are still being sold in _supermarkets_ around here if nobody bags them.

I love the Vanguard. I tried the new glow plastic but I really prefer the first run s-line Vanguard personally.

Which plastic went the furthest?

I absolutely love the 1st run vanguard. Its my huzer flip forehand disc. I have a color glow one coming but if its flippier i probably won't like it.

I have an older FD i got and it flys like a 0 3-4, or a slower fireball/splice.

Same flight numbers as the Sidewinder. Except it's a "10 speed". Not buying it. I have a stable champion, max weight, Sidewinder that serves a purpose in that slot, in my bag.......😊

Hey Dylan - would be cool to see you do a max distance video with some of your bombers - your forehand looks like it outdrives your backhand here so it would be cool to see you nuke some of your distance drivers and get some distances on both sides. Keep up the great work!

Dang it now I have to buy another vanguard! My first run flies like a FD3 I have thrown for a couple months! Now I love color glow plastic and it already flies like a slightly beat up one?!?! Yup gotta get one

I agree with what you said about how the reblend plastic feels. I got an M4 in reblend plastic in the Q2 prodigy club box and it’s amazing. I’m sure they are going to release more molds in this plastic soon. They definitely have a winner with this plastic. I’ll have to snag an F5 because it’s become a staple fairway in my bag. It’s so good for hitting gaps and low ceiling shots.

Just pretend you throw a ball but bend down so angle is correct. Easy

Agreed this was a change I made about 6 months ago and I’ve got waaayyy more spin. I still wobble putters, so I’m guessing it’s something with my thumb but haven’t been able to identify yet

I wonder how much difference different colors impact the stability. I have a white one, and it flies quite stable. Straight with some fade at the end. Might get some small turn, but not anything close to what I'd say a -2 should get. It flies really close to what my Vass (poison green) flies. That said, I havent thrown the Älva enough to make a super good analysis. Anyone knows about different colors and stability on these discs?

As others have said, good video. Its essentially just an In The Bag video with more discussion. With that said, this guy is very helpful for beginners. The man is throwing Rivers like they're a -3. A lot of beginners struggle to even get the max weight River to carry straight.

As someone who hunted for a great understable putter for lower arm speeds, I've found the MVP Spin and Prodigy PA-5 are perfect. I prefer the handfeel of the PA-5 so I bag it.

My ESP Hades has absolutely no turn and its not because my arm speed, I can turn plenty of discs over. These flight numbers are almost as inaccurate as the Innova Vulcan 😂

It is about time that Innova adjusted their flight ratings. I did a video on the Valkyrie, DX vs Halo. They have completely different flights BUT, the same numbers... I do have a Pro and Champion, Tern and they did adjust the flight ratings between the two which was nice to see.

If you like the F5 have you ever tried any of the H series? The H3v2 and H4v2 are staples in my bag. Also i find Prodigy mids to be quite a bit more stable out of the box than the numbers suggest. The new M4s are even kinda stable until you beat them a little. At least the premium plastics, not sure about 2 or 300. 500 spectrum M4 is my favorite.

You can think about the stability in many ways, one is obviously the height of the parting line, but the other is the radial mass distribution. If you have convex edge it has more outwards radius mass distribution than straight or concave edge. The more convex it it, the further the mass can be from the centre. Concave shape means the mass must be elsewhere. Looking at just one side of the disc is not enough, gotta analyze both sides. Esp. mids and approach discs have often very convex top and concave bottom.

So Innova finally realized plastic type affects stability? 😅

The Fractal and Reblend both look great. I haven't thrown any, but just aesthetically, great designs. If they're cutting all their pros minus Humphries, the Robinsons (for now) and Manibu, to reinvest in their company with lines like Fractal, and Reblend, then it might be a good move for 'em. The rumors of Prodigy going away are strong, but also Lonestar still exists, with a bigger touring team so I'm not so sure they're going to shut down completely.

I love my old f5, and the regrinds look to fly the same so I will be picking up a few:)

Pretty much any X1 will be more OS than that D2. X1’s are just like 1 tick of stability less than a Tilt. The Gray x1 I have, which I outbid Issac and Gannon both for, goes about 250ft and dumps for any arm shy of 70 MPH. Now his 400S D1 that might be a different story.

The last two releases were Fractal and Reblend. I hope that doesn't mean they're getting rid of all of their remaining plastic before they go under. It's not looking too good. I hope they can rebound.

I’m an arborist and can explain the dark spots on the trees 🤓. Where water pools there is likely residual moisture which can cause rot and slime flux. Depending on the tree it can be better or worse. The water can attract insects, which might be what you’re seeing. Also, I own 2 eleven time teebird’s, it’s my favorite fairway! The controlled flip on a beat in teebird is next level disc design.

Invictus has also 10, 4, 0, 3 for Star/Champ and 10, 5, -1, 2 for GStar. Doubt Star and Champ are equally beefy but here we go. Comparison between Gorgon, Invictus, Beast, Avenger, Sapphire, F Model US,, whatever, needed.
